I am a career reporter, writer and magazine editor who currently works as a public information
officer. I have strong communication and research skills. A multitasker, I can handle several
different assignments and duties simultaneously. I am an exceptional verbal communicator

My work has won awards from the West Virginia Press Association. I was also named CNHI
Reporter of the Year, Division 2, in 2011.

EDUCATION

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from The American University in
Washington, D.C. and also studied journalism. I made the Dean’s List, served as a reporter and
campus news editor of The Eagle student newspaper and I studied British politics and theater
for a semester in London, England, where I also interned for a magazine.
